BMW recently unveiled the latest 2018 BMW 4 Series. The new 4 Series packs a lot of upgrades under the hood, on the exteriors, as well as on the tech side.
One of the most noticeable updates that BMW made on the 2018 4 Series is on the front and rear lights which now feature LED lighting, according to Auto Blog. BMW also gave the front bumper a redesign, and the standard fog lights are now using LED as well.

In a statement acquired by Automobile Mag, BMW head of design Karim Habib said, "The model update distinguishes the 4 Series cars even more clearly with their sister model series and ensures that this extra portion makes its presence felt both inside and out."
In the interior, there is a new Digital Cockpit gauge and an overhauled Professional display for navigation and infotainment features. The new 4 Series also supports Apple Car Play and Wi-Fi hotspot. There is also a new sports steering wheel, three new upholstery colors, and double stitching for the instrument panels.
In terms of upholstery color, the options are Midnight Blue, Ivory White Dakota, and Cognac leather. Three new trim strips are also available which are Carbon Aluminum, High-gloss Black with Pearl Chrome, and Light Fineline.
On the tech side, the 2018 BMW 4 Series packs the latest version of the iDrive infotainment system. There is also an optional instrument display which can provide drivers with different types of gauges based on the car's mode.
BMW will release two engine types in the United States. One is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 248 horsepower. The other option is the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine capable of outputting up to 320 horsepower. Both engine variants can be configured with either six-speed manual transmission or eight-speed automatic transmission. Both engine variants can be configured for all-wheel drive option as well.
