Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Samsung is not planning on giving up the Galaxy Note series and will proceed on launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 later this year. Despite the massive baggage with the Note's name, Samsung believes faithful customers will gather and return back to a new Note.
The news came from D.J. Koh, Samsung's mobile chief. According to CNET, Koh told them that the company plans on rebuilding its credibility and reputation with consumers by unveiling a successor to the Galaxy Note 7. Koh also added that the company will return with a better, safer and very innovative Note 8. It will likely to debut this fall and will serve as the basis of how much progress Samsung will make in the upcoming months.

A bold move indeed for Samsung, seeing the bad image of the Note now has and what it gave to the company because of its major setbacks. The company had to make a lot of amends with their customers and losing as much as $1 Billion. Many at that point, people were certain that Samsung would likely to end the Note series.
Through comprehensive research amongst consumers, Koh has his reasons on believing that the Note series will still hit the markets. Samsung says its most loyal consumers come from those who have already bought older or similar Note models.
The company is frequently criticized as a fast-follower; the one who immediately follows and imitates hot trends of other competitors. Nevertheless, Samsung was still the first who made a hit with large and thick phones in the industry.
As of now, the company focuses on the Samsung Galaxy S8. More or less, the device will debut in the middle of April and is said to remove the Home button and will include a Dual-camera setup at the back.
