Game Rant reported that the grenade launcher is not that difficult to find. The process required to get the firearm is easier than the "Resident Evil 7" "happy-birthday tape mystery" puzzle. However, it requires players to backtrack to some areas, which causes most gamers to overlook the item. Although it might seem troublesome to head back to some areas that you already explored, getting the extra firepower is worth it.
To begin their quest for an explosive arsenal, players must gather all the dog head emblems. Gamers should have also completed exploring the old house, where they have to collect the crow key to unlock the supply room holding the weapon. Once the key has been obtained, players should make their way back to the main house and head towards the drawing room. The drawing room is the one with the stuffed stag.
On the first time entering the room, players would not be able to open the crow door leading to the supply room. Having the crow key opens the supply room, and the launcher can be found on top of some boxes. The room also holds many useful items and ammunition for the newly acquired weapon. It takes some practice with the weapon to be able to aim it properly and hit a group of enemies, taking them out with the explosive rounds.
According to VG24/7, the supply room where the grenade launcher can be found also holds some strong chem fluid and solid fuel. These two items can be used to craft flame rounds for the launcher. Given that "Resident Evil 7" boss battles are tough, players should save ammunition to make these fights a little easier.
