The new LG G6 comes out with a water-resistant body and the added feature, Google Assistant. LG is one of the recent smart phone manufacturers to change the phone's battery from removable into a built-in type.
LG G6 is a non-Google and non-Pixel smartphone phone but it will be the first one to adapt Google Assistant which is Google's latest version in voice-command technology, CNET reported.

In February 26, LG G6 will be launched in the Mobile World Congress Trade Show in Barcelona. Aside from being the flagship, LG G6 will come out with Snapdragon 821 processor. It is expected to be released ahead of the latest Samsung smartphone which is Samsung Galaxy S8.
A leak rumored that Samsung is hoarding the initial supply of Snapdragon 835 for their 2017 flagship which is the Samsung Galaxy S8.
LG G6 is set to come out in April with the latest Qualcomm processor which is the Snapdragon 835, the first choice for their flagship but they opted into an older version (Snapdragon 821) to avoid the delay of its release, says CNET.
Recent reviews revealed that LG G6 will come out with a wider screen and thinner body. It has also a higher pixel front camera to support buyers' need for the trending selfie activities.
Google as LG's partner for using Assistant in G6 can be a continuous partnership as previously, LG had made 3 Nexus phones for Google.
It is easier to make a water-resistant phone with a sealed-in battery, LG pointed out. The new look of G6 is an innovation to use metallic body that is different from G5's plastic design.
The last quarter of 2016 became tough for LG when sales and product quality is considered, but it is their good catch to launch LG G6 in the Mobile World Congress Trade Show, ahead of Samsung's Galaxy S8 release date, a tech insider revealed.
