Nintendo previously left fans disappointed after it announced that its "Super Mario Run" would not be getting any new DLC. Now, the Japanese company just announced a Golden Goomba Event that many would surely enjoy.
In Nintendo's latest update of the app, the company introduced the Golden Goomba event that players can participate in. In the event, every Gold Goomba that players take down will give 30 gold coins, which could be considerably bigger than the usual amount of gold coins players can get.

Players will also be given a special stamp for every Goomba killed that will eventually be placed on a special stamp card. Each completed card will earn players a special Gold Goomba statue that can be used as a display for their Kingdom. Levels that contain Gold Goombas are marked with an icon and the Gold Goombas do not always show up in the same location each time. Also, on the later levels, there are more Gold Goombas. The event will run up to February 20.
Nintendo also added an Easy Mode in its latest update that allows players to receive unlimited time and bubbles to complete a level. This particularly means that players can die as many times as possible and they do not need not to worry about running out of time or running out of lives.
Aside from the added Easy Mode feature, the update will add support for Korean as well as make some changes to Toad Rally where Toads will be much easier to gather. Also, the number of Toads lost after a race has been lessened.
