With the release of PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, the VR market has definitely become plenty crowded.
Three different Swiss online retailers have leaked a potential pricing point for the PlayStation VR headset but the pricing details differ with each other.
PlayStation VR is a virtual reality headset from Sony, previously known as Project Morpheus. It works with both the Sony PS4 and the PlayStation Vita, and utilizes the PlayStation Camera to track what the user is doing, and give them a VR experience in PlayStation games.

The prices from the Swiss retailers (Brack.ch, Techmania.ch, and Internet.ch) range from $435-$544, GSM Arena reported. It falls within the range of new console. However, many also assumed that Sony was going to light up the Oculus Rift with a substantially lower price. It is not quite much as the $599 Oculus Rift.
The Sony Computer Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Andrew House at the last year's Tokyo Game Show said the wearable device would cost the same as the new gaming platform, which is $400 for American customers, but did not reveal the exact price.
The latest PlayStation VR headset has a 5.7-inch full-HD OLED display with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution. The displays is said to expand the field of view and enable low persistence, removing motion blur. Sony's VR headset has a 120Hz refresh rate and can render games at 120fps. Sony says PlayStation VR will offer impressive smooth visuals with the help of combined powerful PS4 console and the OLED screen's high refresh rate.
Sony plans to make up for the lack of PlayStation exclusives with the release of its PlayStation VR. Sony CEO Kaz Hirai said the unit is currently in the hands of over 200 developers and there are 100 titles and growing in development for it, according to Game Zone.
The PlayStation VR prototype also has super low latency of less than 18ms, which has nearly halved since the first prototype model was demoed. Currently, PlayStation VR headset relies on wires to connect. Sony has suggested that it could develop a wireless version.
The virtual reality and augmented segment has lately seen a lot of new companies entering the space. Aside from Sony with PlayStation VR, Oculus VR with the Rift headset, and Razer with its OSVR platform, Microsoft joined the competition announcing its HoloLens, and recently giving more details about it.
