After two failed attempts over a Global Mission, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players succeeded in fulfilling their third try thanks to the Pokemon Community's teamwork by endlessly trading within four days.

For the first mission, it involved capturing of more than 100 million Pokemon until December 13, with only 16% of the goal reached at its peak. As for the second try, which took place from December 27 to January 9, the Global Mission involved catching 1 million Pokemon - but still fell short from the target.

The third mission was centered on using the Global Trade System, globally trading one million Pokemon within two weeks. With the frustration over two initial attempts, gamers made sure that they will beat their way out of the third try - and it became successful in just less than a week.

To do this, the gamers used community portals to organize trade events. They made sure to get everyone involved as possible, in order to meet the goal. With the efforts and coordination of everyone, the Global Mission achieved a stunning success.

Completed within just four days, the players got ten more days to spare. The reward for the Global Mission was 2,000 Festival Coins which can be used for Festival Plaza mini-game. According to Polygon, Nintendo was more than willing to reward a Friend Ball to participants if they can achieve the two million mark before February 14.

The Global Missions are made to keep players involved in the game, as this will open more areas of expansion of the Pokemon franchise. Since the third attempt saw the potential of having players coordinate with one another, this could possibly become a trend with more Global Missions to come.

Ever since the launch of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" last year, it was well-received by the gaming community. The Pokemon franchise is still the top-grossing video game for the Nintendo 3DS console.
