Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro Smartphone's Name Gets Trademarked in the U.S., Might Debut Soon
The name of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro smartphone gets trademarked in the U.S. and might make its debut in the country very soon.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro was filed by the South Korean mobile company Samsung at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the brand name. The request has already been accepted, and an examining attorney will be assigned within three months of filing.

The serial number for the Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro's trademark is 87312364 and was filed on Jan. 24. The term 'Sky' hints at the blue color option and the 'Pro' hints at a powerful version of the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro might also be released in other countries other than U.S. under a different name. It is believed to be the U.S. version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), which made headlines in the last couple of weeks.
If ever the Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro is the Galaxy J7 (2017), then it will be launched in the U.S. via carriers such as U.S. Cellular, Verizon, and AT&T. It has already surfaced on the benchmarking website Geekbench and GFXBench.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). It may sport a 5.5-inch high-definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It may come with a 2GB of RAM and be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset with the Samsung's Exynos 7870 core processing unit.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will be fueled with a 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It measures 151.34 x 76.20 x 8 mm in dimension with light sensor and proximity sensor.
There is no further information given about the Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro right now. It is still unclear how it is going to be different from the existing Galaxy J7.
