The newest patch of “Heroes of the Storm” includes “Overwatch” character, Lucio. His speed also increases by 20 percent when the character goes through hard structures and terrains. Moreover, Lucio’s powers including the Crossfade, Soundwave, and Amp it Up can also be used in the game. The Crossfade is used when players want to heal or need a speed boost as their allies are nearby while the Soundwave is used to hit and knock out heroes. As for the Amp it Up, it increases Lucio’s Crossfade attack for a few seconds. His hero ability will be the Sound Barrier in the game which makes a powerful shield and all allies close to him for six seconds.
Aside from Lucio, the new patch also brings in new quests, talent art, abilities, and shop bundles. It will require the player to finish 15 battles with their friend until the 14th of March. Once completed, gamers will be rewarded with Primal Flamesaber, 10-day stim pack, and the Flames of Judgement Charger.
“Heroes of the Storm” or HotS is a multiplayer game developed by Blizzard, the same company that brought “Overwatch.” The game showcases different heroes from various games like “Warcraft,” “Starcraft,” “Diablo,” “The Lost Vikings,” and “Overwatch”. The game is free to play for everyone but has micro-transactions just like most games today. The game was first released in 2015 and received good reviews from critics like Metacritic with an 86 of 100 rating, Gamespot with a 9 out of 10 reviews, and IGN rated the game with 6.5 out of 10.
