Nintendo has announced how it will distribute the missing Mega Stones that Pokemon can hold in Pokemon Sun and Moon. According to reports, the missing Mega Stones for Pokemon Sun and Moon will come as presents to players participating in Online Competitions.
Including the 2017 International Challenge February competition that will distribute Mega Stones for Beedrillite and Mawilite. Also, according to Serebii, a limited amount of players will get the code ahead of the one or two month wait period before Sun and Moon Players get the Mega Stones code.

Pokemon Sun and Moon players may also get the codes for the Mega Stones via different events and online postings with no wait periods. This code distribution will vary depending on the Mega Stone and players may use the same method of code distribution all through summer.
Mega Stones may be used by several Pokemon during battle and it turns them to mega powered-up versions when held. Once it is removed, Pokemon revert back to its normal form.
In other news, Pokemon Stars is the third Pokemon Sun and Moon version which is anticipated to be available on the Nintendo Switch in 2018. A cutscene from Pokemon Sun and Moon proves that the upcoming version truly exists.
According to reports, a new mainline of the Pokemon game is already in the development stage for Nintendo Switch and it is rumored to be revealed for the hybrid console in 2018 with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Lego City Undercover and other games. The Pokemon Star is expected to come with the same map, art from 3DS games and locales with visual improvements.
Pokemon Stars is said to feature higher-resolution and distinct game elements. The Pokemon Sun and Moon teaser which was launched in February 2016 showed a look at the studio where a lot of concept art shots were revealed. It also showed a high-definition Pikipek which will likely appear in Pokemon Stars.
A Redditor named ronnknee demonstrated how to prompt a cutscene which hinted the upcoming Pokemon Star. game It involves an old man standing in the Hainan Desert where players can stimulate the scene by showing a Lunatone or Solrock to the man.
Neither Pokemon is an Alola native. Players must also transmit them to the tropical region using the Pokemon Bank. Memories will then flash back to the man and he will mention "star pulses" which were given to him three decades ago. He would offer the Moonstone to the player and teleports into space thereafter.
