Other rare generation 2 Pokemon that remain missing in the Pokemon Go game are Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Celebi.
Months after its launch, gamers might have been itching to know more updates on "Pokemon GO." And it appears Niantic Laboratory is determined not to disappoint them.
According to a new report, the company behind the development of the game is keen about releasing three more major updates this year. This is apart from the second generation update made available recently. And the possibility of having new issues to come out must never be discounted. Just in case this happens, how many additional updates should "Pokemon GO" fans expect?

Meanwhile, it was revealed that with the popularity of the game, it generated around 50 times more than what was anticipated in terms of traffic since it was launched last July 6. This only means that the decades-old title from The Pokemon Company has never lost its fan base. "Pokemon GO" is said to have 650 million downloads worldwide so far.
While talking before the participants of the Game Developers Conference, Ed Wu, director of software engineering at Niantic, shared that they have always been optimistic about their latest game title.
"We knew that we had something special on our hands," he said. "We nearly exceeded our peak worldwide capacity - the expected number - in a couple of hours and were trending well on the way towards that five times, 'ludicrous' number."
Amid its high number of users, it was surmised that this might have also been the reason why teething issues were reported, especially during its launch.
In the meantime, it was noted that "Pokemon GO" was already beyond its capacity just two hours after its launch. The Google-hosted game was initially introduced to New Zealand and Australia.
To date, "Pokemon GO" is reportedly still making waves in the world of augmented reality game, as the company continues to add new features, including the party hat of Pikachu.
