McDonnell added that previous Disney world's such as "Peter Pan", "Fantasia", "Aladdin", "Tarzan" should also be brought back to the "Kingdom Hearts 3" since Square Enix included Mt. Olympus from "Hercules" animated film. "Frozen", "The Jungle Book" and "Wreck-It Ralph" are also mentioned in his list since these three have been heavily rumored by gaming fans along with "Toy Story" and "Brave".
Voice Actor Jim Cummings teased that Winnie the Pooh and Tigger could return in "Kingdom Hearts 3" signifying that gamers could see Sora and his friends travelling back to "100 Acre Woods" soon. Co-director Tai Yasue even hinted that Marvel and Star Wars characters could be included in the sequel, but the circumstances of their inclusion could be challenging since Disney is strict with their use of licensed products.
In other news, game director Tetsuya Nomura teased a new gameplay details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" as Nomura told GamesTM that they looked into different spin-off titles for the new battle system that will include new Keyblade transformations and unique fighting techniques.
Nomura teased that "Kingdom Hearts 3" could feature three playable characters, but did not divulge any further details as they are still exploring the idea. Nomura added that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not be the end of the game series as he explained the third game could be the end of the story arc since Sora and his friends have been fighting a singular antagonist, Xehanort.
With that in mind, Square Enix could be making "Kingdom Hearts 4" or a new spin-off game for the franchise soon after "Kingdom Hearts 3". Nomura stated that the discussion to end "Kingdom Hearts" have never been discussed by both him and Disney. In short, there could be more "Kingdom Hearts" game titles in future projects.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
