Android Marshmallow Release News For Sony Xperia Z3, Z4, Z5, Z5 Premium and Z5 Compact Series On US Carriers
Given below is the Android 6.0 M release news for Sony Xperia Z3, Z4, Z5, Z5 Premium and Z5 Compact series for US carriers such as US Cellular, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint and Verizon.
The Xperia M4 Aqua, the Xperia M5, Xperia C4, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 are the devices that will get the Android Marshmallow update, GSMArena reported. Furthermore, devices such as Xperia Z Ultra GPE, the Xperia Z2 Tablet, the Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, the Xperia Z3 Compact and the Xperia Z3/Z3V will also get the new update.

The newest device will receive the Android M update first. It means that the Z5 Compact, the Z5 Premium and the Z5 will get the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update first. According to reports, these devices may get the new Marshmallow update in a few months.
According to a Know Your Mobile report, the tech giant Sony will update the whole Z5 line-up this month.
Various reports suggested that when a device could get the latest Android Marshmallow update will differ directly on the carrier, which in the US will be T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular and Verizon.
According to reports, there was a beta test of Android Marshmallow on the Z3 Compact and Z3 owners, with a built in the first over-the-air update. The tech company said that it is working as fast as it can to bring the new Android 6.0 M update to its devices; however, there is no confirmed timeline.
Meanwhile, according to latest reports, the electronics maker may reveal the Xperia Z6 in the first quarter of this year.
Earlier reports suggested that Sony will announce the Xperia Z6 before the CES event that is scheduled on January 6 in Las Vegas. However, according to other reports, the release date for the Xperia Z6 will be February 22 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
