Rumors about the specs of the upcoming Apple iPhone 8, codenamed Ferrari, have started circulating online. It could feature an edgeless display, glass body with no physical button, and a curved screen to rival the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It is also rumored to come with wireless battery charging support. Apple could also launch three iPhones with two 4.7-inch models with TFT-LCD screens and a 5.5-inch model with an OLED screen.

Apple is said to have designed the iPhone 8 with iris scanning technology and wireless charging. The iris authentication feature will allow iPhone 8 users to unlock the device or use Apple Pay by using their eyes. The scanner technology was first seen in Fujitsu Arrows NXF-04G, and other companies such as LG, Samsung, Microsoft, and Vivo could soon use this technology on their top-of-the-line devices as well.

Meanwhile, it is speculated that the Microsoft Surface Phone will be a phablet with a similar screen as Nokia's Lumia XL. It is also possible that the Surface Phone will sport either a Snapdragon 835 or an Intel Kaby Lake processor, a USB port, liquid cooling tech, and an Active-Matrix Organic Light-emitting Diode display. There are rumors that the basic version of the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 will come with 4 GB of RAM while the premium model will feature 8 GB of RAM. A 3,000 mAh battery is likely to power the device with a 64 GB, 128 GB and 512 GB of internal storage. A 21 MP rear camera and 8 MP front snapper are also expected.

The Surface Phone would likely come with Windows software and an ARM processor. It is designed for tech enthusiasts and business purposes. There are rumors that the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 would be able to run both Android and iOS apps on Windows 10 with minimal coding, also known as Bridge Solution.
