Hearing loss is found amoung teens and young adults, that is why you should know how to prevent it.
On Friday, March 3 was the World Hearing Day, the focus of which is on hearing loss; how it affects you and how you can prevent it. Perhaps, you will agree that hearing is very essential in your day to day living that is why you should know some basic ways on how you can preserve your hearing health.

According to the Inquirer, the first thing to do is to think positively about aging. A study shows that people who feel negatively about aging will most likely have problems their hearing and memory. It was suggested that if a person feels negative about getting old, he will lose his confidence, which may affect his ability to function.
Moreover, it is suggested that to prevent hearing loss, there is a need for you to turn down the volume of electronic devices.
It was found out that people who engage in risky listening habits may suffer from a persistent tinnitus. Although tinnitus is not considered a condition, it is one of the signs of hearing loss associated with aging. A study shows that many people who suffer from this condition are from age 11 to 17 years old. However, commonly affects those who are over 50 years old.
ENT Doctor at Med Center Health Dr. Hugh Sims said that hearing loss can be found in most teenagers and young adults. He explained that listening devices damage the hair cells found in the inner ear. Up to 50 percent of teenagers reportedly have symptoms of mild hearing loss.
