The rumor mill has been hinting since quite some time that the Galaxy S8 would be available on pre-orders from April 10 and it would be released by April 21. However, popular leakster has revealed that the Galaxy S8 release date has been pushed to April 28.
Samsung had released an official teaser of the Galaxy S8 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 to reveal its March 29 launch date. According to a tweet from the tipster, the South Korean tech giant has pushed the Galaxy S8 release date by one week. It means its instead of releasing the Galaxy S8 on April 21, it would be shipping to the customers from April 28, Phone Arena reported.

So why has Samsung decided on pushing back the Galaxy S8 release date? According to the tipster, the lower production of Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 chipsets built with 10nm production could have resulted in the delay of Galaxy S8 release date.
According to Sam Mobile, the Seoul-based company had revealed the Galaxy S8 in a private room at a hotel near the venue of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The local media that was present at the private event claimed that the Galaxy S8 is very impressive. However, the local media have not revealed any details on the specifications and features of the Galaxy S8.
The rumor mill has revealed the alleged specs of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Both phones are fitted with dual-edge curved screens. The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch screen whereas the S8+ has a 6.2-inch display. It is expected to launch with Snapdragon 835 SoC and Exynos 8895 chipsets in different markets.
The SoC will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB native storage and microSD card slot. It will be coming loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The Galaxy S8 is expected to feature 3,000 mAh battery whereas the larger S8+ is speculate to house a 3,500 mAh battery.
