"Diablo 3" will be ending its ninth season on Friday, March 17, 2017. As it is about to end, Blizzard gets the game ready for season ten, which is set to launch on Friday, March 31, 2017.
According to a post on the game developer's official website, the huge "Diablo 3" fanbase has less than a few weeks for them to make any sort of further development in leaderboards and get more achievements for the seasonal rewards.

Moreover, Season 10 participants will have an opportunity to get in-game currency in the form of gold, a brand new gear, and Paragon levels. Paragon levels can be obtained by accomplishing in-game content and dungeons after reaching the maximum character level. Typically, a season lasts for approximately three months which gives players a chance to battle for a spot on the leaderboards. Additionally, players may opt to take part in a season either with a group or solo.
A "Diablo 3" expansion is said to arrive sometime this year, giving avid gamers the access to a new class dubbed, Necromancer. However, Blizzard has not announced an official release date as of yet.
Players, who reach level 70 on a hero before the current season comes to an end, will get hold of an exclusive chest and gloves transmogrification appearances. Even before the season wraps up, it is notable that both seasonal and non-seasonal heroes will have access to the aforementioned appearances. Other than that, to mark off their seasonal run, players will be able to acquire new portrait frames and an exclusive pet.

When the next season for "Diablo 3" begins, it is crucial for players to create new seasonal heroes and start their journey with a clean slate. More so, the game developer might even roll out Patch 2.5.0 alongside the new season.
The hack and slash action RPG is slated to get a new Armory system which allows players to not only stack up five builds, but also swap through them on-the-fly.
