Laziness could actually indicate high intelligence. (YouTube)
If you are wondering why you seem to be lazy in many things, it may indicate high intelligence. A new research suggests that intelligent people would spend time lounging around.
It supports the theory that individuals who have higher IQs are happy when they spend their time thinking that is why they don't get bored easily. On the other hand, people have to stimulate themselves with external or physical activity so that they can fend off boredom.

According to the Independent, a group of students were given a classic test three decades ago by researchers from the Florida Gulf Coast University. From the pool of candidates, two groups are formed - thinkers and non-thinkers - and each had 30 members.
The groups were tracked for a week, and members were examined to determine their activity levels. According to Unilad, the study showed that those who belong to the thinkers group were less active compared to non-thinkers.
Todd McElroy, the lead author of the study, said that there is a negative impact associated with being intelligent since smart people tend to become lazy. The British Psychological Society said that to combat the lower activity level of more thoughtful individuals, there should be awareness.
People who have high intelligence should be aware that they have a tendency to be less active. This inactivity may have an impact that could be detrimental to their well-being. Awareness could help them choose to become active.
