According to TIME, if you are a good sleeper, you can easily fall asleep when you get in bed. Getting in bed can trigger sleepiness. But if you have a sleeping disorder, then you may feel otherwise.

According to Independent, factors such as worrying about work can disrupt your sleep. Prolonged use of tablets, laptops and smartphones can even contribute to your sleeplessness.

To treat this condition, it is recommended not to look at any bright lights or screen hours before bed. Lights, most especially the blue light from screens, can suppress the production of melatonin, which is responsible for letting your body to sleep.

Experts also recommend regular exercise and avoiding alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine in the evening. Instead of forcing yourself to sleep, do something relaxing until you are ready to go to bed.

If some of these recommendations are not working, then maybe it is time for you to seek help from your physician.
