"Clash of Clans" balancing update arrived recently offering a major increase in specific damages, hit points, and spawning rates. However, despite the latest offering, the longing for shipyard activation still remains in the background.

In the most recent update, Hog Rider and Miner characters were given increased hit points. On the other hand, Dragon level 4 to 6 gained damage increase, while P.E.K.K.A level 3 to 5 was also given a similar upgrade.
Moreover, upgrade cost and time for Air Defense levels 4 to 8 has decreased, while Wall level 12 limit increased by 25, suggesting wider options for Town Hall 11 defense layout. To go along with it, spawning rate for Witch has been increased as well.
In view of the given facts, some gamers are still unsatisfied with "Clash of Clans" latest updates. Various social media and forum posts still longs for the activation of the shipyard and the usage of the ships in the "CoC" environment. "Past Used By - Clash of Clans," a YouTube channel, also suggested of potential ship update, citing official Japanese "CoC" Twitter account post.
This would not be the first time that interest for ships has been raised online. Even prior to the December update, some gamers hinted for the said update. It was reported that Supercell could conduct an update involving shipyard and shipwreck, according to Yibada.
That being said, the idea of ships being used for loots, mining, or even an attack is still highly probable. Such significant update could be around the corner, saved for last by Supercell in case "Clash of Clans" will encounter decrease of engagements.
