New details for "Overwatch" will feature balance changes on Eichenwalde, Gift Loot Boxes, legendary skin for Widowmaker and upgrades for Lucio.

Game director Jeff Kapan teased several interesting changes for "Overwatch" during his Reddit AMA session as explained that Lucio could be getting some upgrades and wanted to try new stuff for him due the gamers popularity in using him during matches.

The developers are thinking of ways to make Lucio more interesting than before, at the same time making him less obvious as a "must pick" character in "Overwatch" and will likely see these changes in the next PTR.

Kaplan also teased that Widowmaker could be having a legendary skin, as he stated that most gamers playing "Overwatch" are trying to unlock every skin of their favorite "Overwatch" character, whether regular and legendary.

Lastly, Kaplan teased that they are working on loot boxes being gifted and teased gamers if they are being "generous," hinting that players may reward others with loots in the game.

Meanwhile, Blizzard Entertainment looks to incorporate some changes in the Eichenwalde map in "Overwatch" soon.

Despite changes to the door checkpoint a few patches ago, Eichenwalde's win rate is apparently still not at 50/50 between attack and defense, as gamers are still frustrated in making through the first checkpoint.

Kaplan explained that he and Blizzard try to keep every map in "Overwatch" to have a 50/50 win rate, but in the case of the Eichenwalde map, it is impossible to achieve. But, players have love the map and new changes they want were driven by the stats showing imbalance within the map.

The first choke point on Eichenwalde has been one of some controversy for some time and is one of the harder points to pass while attacking, PVP Line reported.

The overall balance is in large part thanks to Blizzard's statistics team, something they refer to internally as Business Intelligence. In addition, they also provide the development team with a number of tools to assist in balancing the game.

Blizzard Entertainment previously announced changes on the "Mystery Heroes" mode and Orisa added to "Overwatch" roster next week.

"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
