AMD Ryzen processor is on display.
After the successful launching of AMD Ryzen, issues associated with the device are now surfacing online, including system hang. However, recent Ryzen update revealed that AMD has already identified the cause of the problem.
AMD has just confirmed that they have already determined the reason behind system hangs as associated to FMA3 code. Although there have been no further details about the issue and its main cause, AMD assured that fix is underway.

"We are aware of select instances where FMA code can result in a system hang. We have identified the root cause," Digital Trends quoted AMD as saying.
Furthermore, AMD made mention that BIOS changes will be distributed to manufacturers of motherboards to help resolve the system concern. For now, AMD Ryzen users who are experiencing PC system hangs are highly encouraged to keep watch for updates on their motherboard vendor's website.
Now, this would not be the first time that the recently released Ryzen CPU has encountered some issues. There have been other concerns about the CPU reported online. One of the known concerns involves an alleged incorrect thread scheduling on the Ryzen processor, according to Extreme Tech.
As a result of the said concern, gaming performance has been decreased due to minimum frame rate differences as gamers would suggest. However, the company does no see that the issue is not related to thread scheduling in Windows 7 versus Windows 10.
By means of blog post illustration, AMD suggested the importance of rush judgments to a brand new CPU debut, like Ryzen. Some odd performance results, posted on forum sites could be attractive for gamers and enthusiasts to chew on, but it does mean that they are always right according to the company.
However, despite the criticism for Ryzen CPU, AMD shared that more are to be added to their latest processors for a performance boost. Thus, suggesting that possible updates on Ryzen CPU are to be expected soon, which will hopefully dispel the doubts and criticisms towards the device.
