Orisa is the 24th hero of "Overwatch." (YouTube)
"Overwatch's" 24th hero, the quadripedal Omnic tank Orisa, has now gone live for all players. She is intended to be a low-mobility, high-protection "anchor tank," which can function as the center of the team's defenses. Aside from her Reinhardt-style shield, which can be thrown on the ground in front of her or at range, she also has a defensive buff that lessens incoming damage and averts her from being crowd controlled.

Orisa has been playable on the "Overwatch" PTR for a few weeks. This has paved way for some time of getting to know her. According to PCGamer, she feels a little like a combination of the other tank heroes. First, she has a large, strong shield like Reinhardt. However, instead of being toggle-able, it sits on the ground, which also has a cooldown -- just like Winston's barrier.
Moreover, "Overwatch's" Orisa can throw the barrier to set it up at range, which can protect allies. It resembles with the function of Zarya's projected bubble. Lastly, Orisa's primary weapon, the Fusion Driver, can deliver sustained ranged damage. It is a bit like a long-ranged version of D.Va's cannons.
Furthermore, the rest of Orisa's abilities are as follows: a defensive buff which reduces damage and makes her immune to crowd control, a miniature graviton surge that pulls enemies together, and an ultimate named Supercharger that can buff her team's damage in "Overwatch." With all these abilities, it seems that she'll be one of the more difficult characters to master.
According to Blizzard, Orisa will be disabled in "Overwatch's" competitive play for the next week. With this, players get a chance to adjust to her playstyle before entering the competitive mode. Despite that, Engadget details that players can test out her skills in Play vs. AI, Quick Play and Arcade mode, which includes custom games with the competitive ruleset.
