AMD Ryzen 5
AMD Ryzen 5 release date has been scheduled almost three weeks from now. However, the selling of the AMD hexacore processor has been reported to have already started, paving the way for benchmark leaks to proliferate online.
The sales embargo has been violated by some retailers, as they started to sell the Ryzen 5 ahead of the official release schedule. Based on the report, there are some retailer stores in the UK that have already received shipments of the Ryzen 5. Thus, suggesting that the newly purchased AMD processor might have come from one of the said stores.

With such incident happening, the fear of benchmark test or CPU performance test being shared online ahead of the official release is highly possible. With the CPU being purchased and not given the usual review sample, its owner has no obligation to hold off uploading benchmarks. AMD's upcoming release may somehow be affected by whatever performance to be posted online.
As of the current writing, there has been an alleged leak already released online. A leak coming from a Chinese forum site features what appears to be the first benchmarks of the highly anticipated AMD Ryzen 5. Based on the leak, the performance of the hexacore processor was made in CPU-Z and Cinebench R15 benchmarks, according to Ocaholic.
The CPU-Z benchmark result suggests that the AMD hexacore chip will be as fast as an Intel Core i7-5960X processor, in both single core and multithreaded aspect. However, in the Cinebench R15 test, the AMD chip was unable to outperform the older six-core processor, the Intel Core i7-3930K.
Under the given circumstances, the authenticity of the leaks is yet to be confirmed. The actual performance of AMD Ryzen 5 is yet to be revealed once the official release will arrive.
