the rumor mill has revealed the pricing, release date and color variants of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 tablet.

The Xiaomi MI Pad 2 was launched in November 2015. it has been one and half years and Xiaomi has not announced a new tablet. Speculations have that Xiaomi will be releasing two new tablets that are named as Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 and Mi Pad 3 Pro.

A leaked image has surfaced that has revealed the color variants of the rear shells of the upcoming tablet from Xiaomi. However, it cannot be confirmed whether the rear shell color variants will be available on either one or both the tablets. The metal cover appears to be colors like gold, silver, rose gold and black with inlaid ridges, Gizmo China reported.

According to Playful Droid, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 will be a tablet running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It is expected to house a  7.9-inch screen and will be fueled by MediaTek MT8176 SoC and 4 GB of RAM. Its 64 GB storage model is expected to be priced at 1,299 Yuan ($189). The other storage variant of 128 GB is speculated to be priced at 1,599 Yuan ($232).

The other tablet that is dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 Pro by the rumor mill is expected to house a 9.7-inch screen. It is speculated to be driven by Intel Atom X7 8750 chipset and 4 GB RAM. The 64 GB and 128 GB storage models of Mi Pad 3 Pro will be respectively priced at 1,699 Yuan ($247) and 1,999 Yuan ($290).

There is no confirmation on the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 release date, but launch of the tablet is now speculated to happen in April. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to debut in April. and rumors hint that the flagship phone and Mi Pad 3 duo may launch on the same day or through separate unveil events.
