Specs and Features
The Dell is a 31.5-inch 8K monitor. It has an IPs panel which boasts a 279 PPI pixel density. This specification exceeds a desktop computer display's retina bar. Moreover, Apple's iMac 5K only has 217 PPI.
Additionally, Dell's 8K monitor's IPS panel features vivid and striking colors with a wide-expansive viewing angle of 178°. Other than that, it also has 98 percent DCI-P3 color space display. This implies that it is best for viewing wide color photos and videos. Most impressively, it sports a 17680 x 4320 resolution.
Furthermore, the Dell 8K monitor uses the top of the line Nvidia Quadro workstation graphics card. The aforementioned 8K resolution has 7680x4320 pixels, which produces a total resolution of about 33 megapixels. Additionally, it provides four times more pixel than what 4K monitors can offer.
1.07 billion colors can be produced by this high-resolution monitor. What's more, the monitor's Adobe RGB & standard RGB color spaces have 100% coverage. While Dell's 8K monitor display offers an outstanding resolution, the latest monitor needs an evenly powerful PC to run it as well, 9to5mac writes.
Release Price and Date
The cutting-edge technology introduced by Dell 8K monitor is available for sale. It costs a whopping $4, 999. For those interested, the latest monitor is said to be now up for pre-orders. PC World details that the monitors are slated to arrive on April 17.
