NES Classic Edition Stocks Still Selling Fast, Where are the Units Nintendo Promised? (YouTube)
The Nintendo NES Classic Edition is still in high demand. Many are on the lookout for its stocks, so if one is interested to buy the system for its original price, they must act fast in order to score one or more units. Recently, Best Buy brought it back to their shelves, but is it still available?

Best Buy tweeted yesterday that its online store will have the NES Classic Edition as well as the Switch at 1 p.m. Both consoles by Nintendo have been hard to get, so the competition for either is fierce. And in just a little while after they went live, stocks sold out, Polygon reported.
Nintendo previously promised that the Switch will not face stock issues like the mini console. They kept their word, though, as the home console is not as scarce as the NES. However, it is still elusive to interested buyers, hence they are forced to buy from resellers who put a high price on units.
The same can be said for the NES Classic Edition. Earlier this year, Nintendo assured the community that the production of the console will be increased in order to meet demands.
"We apologize to our consumers and retail partners for the inconvenience caused by product shortages," Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima said in an earnings briefing (via Inquisitr). "Some parts require time to procure, but we are working to increase production."
Many expected that stocks will increase also, but as of now, fans have yet to see the truth in Kimishima's words.
The Nintendo NES Classic Edition has 30 retro titles and costs only $59.99. Some independent resellers on Amazon and eBay sell it at around $150 to $200 on average. It is a good choice for those who cannot wait to get their hands on a unit.
