Although, this mid-air journey is not the first because there are similar flights in the past, this is the first of its kind that is being done in the Southern Hemisphere. The flight time was 7 hours and 31 minutes of chasing the lights. In mid-air the passengers had the biggest return of their air ticket that costs a pair at $2,776 and $5,972 for the economy and business class, respectively.

Likewise in a report by Aviationcv, the flight to the Aurora Australis was a chase that took the Air New Zealand flight across the Southern Ocean. The air tickets were sold like hot cakes in just a matter of five days. Travelers came from different countries to include Spain. Viewing time lasted for five hours as the chartered plane travels below the 60th parallel south, flying through the aurora several times.
The flight has accorded each passenger a spectacular view of the light display as revealed by passengers on social media. The Aurora "Australis is the southern counterpart of the northern lights called the Aurora Borealis. More update on the Aurora's will be featured on Telegiz from time to time, so stay tuned in.
