The proven record and reliability of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge makes it one of the highly sought phablets in the market in 2017. (YouTube)
The Galaxy S8 has been revealed, now the Galaxy Note 8 is up next. Here are the latest updates about the upcoming flagship phablet.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Design
The Galaxy S8 looks good with its infinity display, but the rear leaves much to be desired. The removal of the physical home button means that the fingerprint scanner has to be moved elsewhere, BGR reported.

It was intended to be placed under the screen. However, the technology has not been perfected yet, leaving Samsung to place it at the back instead, beside the camera lens. Seeing as there is still a lot of time between now and the Note 8's release, it is likely that customers will see that design on the phablet instead.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Features
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will sport dual cameras similar to other flagship devices today. According to patents and prototypes, the phablet will have a vertical set-up at the back. This is much welcomed as the flagship smartphone only has a single camera. Even the bigger S8 Plus did not offer an upgrade in terms of camera compared to the iPhone 7 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date
Samsung is delaying the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 to the fourth quarter of the year to make way for its foldable phone prototype dubbed the Galaxy X. It will be released in Q3 in limited quantities, while the Note 8 will likely be revealed in October. If true, the mobile community also has the iPhone 8 to look forward to at that time.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is carrying high expectations following the early demise of its predecessors. Aside from being mindblowing, it is expected to at least have a safe battery that will ensure its survival until the next flagship phablet comes along.
