Apple new smartphone is expected to break sales records. (YouTube)
If the latest reports are anything to go by, tech giant Apple will set a new benchmark with the upcoming iPhone 8.
A picture that seems to show schematics drawings for an unreleased iPhone was posted to Weibo on April 13.
The drawings show a device with a much bigger display than on any present iPhone. The handset has a home button situated on the back, a rear camera with two lenses arranged vertically, and minimal bezels around the screen.

The smartphone will be the same thickness as the iPhone 7 (7.1mm). The device will be 72.5mm wide and 149mm tall.
Other rumored features include 2.5D contoured glass on the back and front of the smartphone surrounded by a metal frame, wireless charging, invisible front camera hidden below the screen, 5.8-inch OLED screen, and a big power button featuring two contact points, 9to5Mac reported.
Traditionally, the Cupertino-based company is expected to unveil the new iPhone in September and will put the device on sale 10 days later. Apple will allegedly unveil three new iPhones this year.
Two smartphones will act as updates to the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 (called 7S Plus and the 7S), whereas the third phone will sport the edge-to-edge screen and will be expensive. Apple will set a new benchmark if it does pull off 4mm bezels all round.
Apple new smartphone is expected to break sales records.
