Nokia is expected to launch three Android handsets soon. All of them are mid-range devices, according to today's mobile standards. There are rumors that high-end Android smartphones are also in the works, with the upcoming Nokia 9 set to compete with the Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 this year.

Nokia 9
The upcoming Nokia 9 is powered by Qualcomm's latest and powerful Snapdragon 835 processor, equipped with 6GB of RAM and allegedly 64GB of internal storage. The Nokia 9 is said to sport a 22-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 12-megapixel front snapper for selfies. Under the hood is a 3800mAh battery. The Nokia 9 is water resistant and comes with Quick Charge 4 support, Zeiss optics, 360-degree audio, an iris scanner and a fingerprint scanner. It is expected to be priced at around $699.
Samsung Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus
The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display while the Galaxy S8 Plus sports a 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display. Both Samsung phones come with a 12-megapixel "Dual Pixel" rear camera with optical image stabilization and 8-megapixel front camera with autofocus. The Galaxy S8 is powered by Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 835 SoC in the US, and Exynos 8895 SoC for the international market. Both devices come with 4GB of RAM and with 64GB of inbuilt storage. It also supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 256GB. The price of the device is expected to be between $750-$850 depending on the variant.
Apple iPhone 8
This year Apple will mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and the company could make a major upgrade to the device. The iPhone 8 is expected to sport a new and powerful A11 processor and M11 motion-coprocessor coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Apple is said to be experimenting with a "glass sandwich design" for the phone. Apple's iPhone 8 could also come with a "revolutionary" front-facing camera with an infrared module which has 3D capabilities that can enable augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR) features in apps as well as better security. The price is expected to be between $850-$900.
