Street Fighter 5 is an upcoming fighting video game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 4 and PC platform.
Capcom's latest arcade fighting game sequel, "Street Fighter 5" will feature new game modes in its latest trailer, in-game accessibility and skill levels.
"Street Fighter 5" game director Yoshinori Onon stated in an interview that the latest sequel is meant to be played by both beginners of the "Street Fighter" game series and veteran players. Ono told Engadget that the first step in providing a good content within the game is to have a good and stable netcode as Capcom has strive in developing an online experience that gamers can enjoy as possibly as they can.

Capcom was ambitious enough to turn "Street Fightr 5" into a full-fledge eSport and they wanted to "reset" the community, the playing field and the whole game. Capcom wanted to start fresh when they release "Street Fighter 5" so that both old and new generation of gamers can relate and enjoy the franchise in while new level. Ono added that they want to keep the momentum going as they proceed slowly to eSport prominence.
Another crucial element is to retain interest for "Street Fighter 5" as several gamers might not be intersted in it due to the competitive nature of experienced players. Ono stated that they wanted to provide beginners to improve their skills in the sequel and the ranking system wil provide motivation for them to not only succeed against experience players and enjoy the game in general.
Ono compared the "Street Fighter" skill levels to that of baseball were in experienced gamers are in the najor leagues, while beginners will be considered in neighborhood baseball games that they can enjoy.
In othe news, Capcom launched a gameplay trailer for "Street Fighter 5" as the video will introduce six unique game modes in the sequel, VG 24/7 reported.
The first will be Tutorial Mode which introduces gamers on the basic move sets within the game. The next game mode is Character Story Mode, were in players will have to finish a arcade style gameplay and explore each character's story and motivation.
Survival Mode will have gamers survive a series of matches against different opponents with a specific restriction. Each victory will earn players a prize of increasing their EX Gauge and score, as well as unlocking new colors reflecting to their skill level.
Training Mode will allow gamers to practice and master the techniques of every character in the roster and it will feature shortcut commands on the controller's touch pad.
Network Battles will allow gamers to compete with other gamers across the world and earn points via Ranked Matches or Casual Matches.
Lastly, the Capcom Fighters Network feature will allow gamers to connect with other players. Players will quickly identify who is online using global heat map and watch worldwide battles. Users can search a specific player via rival search and view replays.
"Street Fighter 5" will launch on Feb. 16 in the United States for PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
