BlackBerry KeyONE News: Expected To Arrive This Week, Prices Revealed
BlackBerry has been a brand name which has been associated with secure smartphones over these years. The company has brought forward a number of innovations were making smartphones at a time when no one even imagined. Now, BlackBerry KeyOne, which was unveiled during the Mobile World Congress 2017.

According to a source, information about the availability and the pricing of the BlackBerry KeyONE in the U.S. will be announced next week. Steve Cistulli, the President and GM of the TCL Communication (TCT), has recently posted on one of his social media account a beautiful image of the said handset resting on a retail box. He also said that some key news about this smartphone will be surfaced next week. Originally slated for an April launch, late last month BlackBerry CEO John Chen reportedly said that the BlackBerry KeyONE will start going into production by the end of April.
Earlier this month, U.K. retailer Clove also mentioned that the KeyONE would launch in Europe on May 5th at a price equivalent to $640 USD. Interested customers must have to wait for at least a couple of weeks for the smartphone to ship. The waiting time might be higher for those who don't pre-order from certain retailers.
BlackBerry KeyONE Specs, Design And Features
As far as the specs go, the BlackBerry KeyONE comes with a 4.5-inch LCD screen and a resolution of 1080 x 1620 display. Powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset, and has an octa-core 2GHz CPU, Adreno 506 GPU, matched with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. A 2TB capacity microSD slot is available to those seeking for more storage. The 12MP rear-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0, and a front-facing 8MP shooter for selfies. Furthermore, a fingerprint scanner is smartly embedded in the keyboard's space bar, which keeps the lights on. A 3505mAh battery life and Android 7.1 are already pre-installed.
