It stands out that on the side of business, "The Boss Baby" is not generating as much money as it should have. However, it does not imply that the movie is complete failure. Patch reports that the Newtown Theatre will screen the new children's movie "The Boss Baby" for one weekend only beginning this Friday, April 28. Showtimes are Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The movie is rated PG and tickets are $5 for theatre members, $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, $7 for kids 12 and younger and the Newtown Theatre is located at 120 N. State Street, Newtown, reports the same post.
On a different note, "Fast & Furious 8" is already the sixth biggest hit of 2017 and it has left "The Boss Baby" behind. "The Boss Baby" is second and third-placed is "Beauty and the Beast," as reported by the Guardian.
As for its plot, "The Boss Baby" (Alec Baldwin) arrives at seven-year-old Tim's home in a taxi, wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase and the instant sibling rivalry must soon be put aside when Tim discovers that Boss Baby is on a mission to help thwart a dastardly plot involving an epic battle between puppies and babies.
For the rumors of "The Boss Baby" turning sour and the business revenues are not doing good, that speculation remains to be seen. Moreover, fans and followers should take things with a grain of salt in mind.
