"The Sims" has been one of the most popular simulation games since 2000. After the release of "The Sims 4" in 2014, there has not been any announcement from the developers about the next game, which is "The Sims 5." However, there are a lot of speculations about its possible release date, features, and improvements.

Possible Release Date
The first ever "The Sims" was released on February 4, 2000. After that, "The Sims 2" was launched on September 14, 2004. Five years later, another version was launched which is the "The Sims 3" on June 2, 2009. On September 2, 2014, developer Electronic Arts released the popular "The Sims 4."
Because of the five-year interval of each game, "The Sims" fans believe that the next game will be available on 2019. However, there is still no statement from Electronic Arts to confirm this.
Possible Features and Improvements
Electronic Arts is reportedly working to improve "The Sims 5" to offer more features and improvements. The game is said to be VR-compatible to deliver the best experience for Simmers. When it comes to "The Sims" setting, the location of "The Sims 5" may be based on "The Sims 4: City Living," particularly the concrete jungle Myshuno. Also, there might be additional characters, items, and objects compared to "The Sims 4."
The graphics may also be improved compared to the past versions of "The Sims" "The Sims 5" is expected to have a lot of improvements, especially in map layout and visuals. The upcoming game may now also let the players to finally drive vehicles like cars and bicycle.
