"Tom Clancy's The Division" has received a new patch via PTS 2 that affects hip-fire, bringing adjustments in the damage of Airburst seeker, Nimble, bug fixes and other important gameplay changes. This new patch is a follow-up of Quality Update 1.6.1 that went live via Public Test Server last month.

One of the major adjustments brought by the patch is on the hip-fire. According to Ubisoft is a very important and in a continuous discussion since the release of "Last Stand".
The developer would want to look into the whole hip-fire feature but for now, they want to address the most pressing matter that is brought up by the community which is the hip-fire aim assist with the use of a controller. After the patch is installed, the aim assist will no longer be activated whenever the player hip-fire with a controller.
It also removed the weapon called LMG M249 SAW that was introduced by the previous PTS for "Tom Clancy's The Division". The developer noted that this weapon is still a work in progress. But players should not lose heart because it also promised to still release a better version in future update.
With regard to Nimble, the developer has removed the requirement to stay in cover to receive the heal and it will now heal 2 percent per meter over the course of four seconds, whether the player stays in cover or not.
Also included in the latest patch for "Tom Clancy's The Division" are several bug fixes that intents improve the player experience. Full patch notes can be accessed via Ubisoft's official forum.
In more news, for those who have not tried the open-world shooter yet was able to play "Tom Clancy's The Division" for free on PS4, Xbox One and PC over the weekend. The free weekend ran from Thursday, May 4 to Sunday, May 7, giving players a chance to play the game at no cost, via Ubisoft.
