Now that Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has been released, it would be safe to assume that Samsung will be releasing their Note 8 flagship device in the coming months. As most reports would point out, the device will probably be released by the end of 2017.

Another interesting proof for the upcoming release would be the previous press release of the company. It mentioned not only an increase in reliable phone replacements and demands, but it also highlighted the fact that a new flagship will be launched in the second half.

"However, competition is expected to intensify with newly launched smartphones in the market. The company will aim to improve performance YoY by maximizing sales of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ and successfully launching a new flagship smartphone in the second half. Also, the company will maintain profitability in the mid- to low-end segment," Know Your Mobile quoted Samsung press release as saying.

Although there is still no official and direct confirmation coming from Samsung, it somehow obvious that the company will capitalize on their current momentum. Thus, introducing a new flagship smartphone.

As of the current writing, it is believed that the said device will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Similar to the Galaxy S8, it would also be running an Android Nougat, according to GSM Arena.

However, nothing remains official until Samsung says it so. That is why information as such should be taken with a grain of salt.
