"The Last of Us 2" is highly anticipated to portray the latest ordeals of the characters. However, Naughty Dog remains silent on the possible scenarios for the upcoming game. Even the release date remains unknown.
This is not the first time that "The Last of Us 2" was tagged in a speculation. For one, Telegiz reports that the game is deemed as the epic game of this time and with its realistic characters, its fame and success take a surprising tone, but despite the victory of the first season, the gamers are still in the loop since Naughty Dog remains mum on the matter.

There are also assumptions coming out implying that Ellie's character will be the focal point of "The Last of Us 2" instead of Joel and there are even insinuations that the PS4 gamers having trouble with the forthcoming update is on the rise, even claims of the specs, features, and the storyline being altered are skyrocketing as well, reports the same post.
As for the claims that the PC version will never materialize, that remains to be seen as well. Twinfinite mentioned that of some updates, particularly the move of Naughty Dog. The developer confirmed at PlayStation Experience 2016 that "The Last of Us Part 2" was in fact in development, but players are wondering if the title is making its way to PC, since no word was uttered about it.
For the gaming enthusiasts, all rumors pertaining to "The Last of Us 2" should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
