Multiple account support has been a highly desired feature on Instagram for several years.
Instagram has started trying multiple accounts support for iOS devices, suggesting the feature could be coming to all Instagram iOS users in the near future.
The online mobile photo- and video-sharing service started to roll out the feature to some users. Some of them said that they can log into more than one account in Instagram on their iOS devices, according to Ubergizmo. For users who have an access to this new feature, they can find a new option Add Account in the Settings menu.

With the choice of logging into Instagram with multiple accounts, notifications for Likes, Follows and Comments will also have a header letting the user know which account received a particular alert. Users have to manually download an APK to take advantage then, but that is not necessary in iOS. Since multiple account support is only available to a few, it appears that feature is still in the testing phase, Engadget reported.
With this long-awaited feature being integrated into the Instagram iOS app, users no longer have to sign in and out of multiple accounts to manage all the different communities or businesses they are involved in. It appears that when a user is logged into multiple accounts, they have the ability to switch between them using the name displayed in the navigation bar.
Multi-user support has been a highly desired feature on Instagram for several years. The first hint of support came in late 2015, when Instagram began testing the feature on Android. It is not clear when multiple account support will see a wider release for iOS users as Instagram has not yet made an official announcement.
Knowing the popularity of third-party Instagram accounts, and their removal from the App Store for violating privacy policies, this new feature is a long-awaited change for Instagram.
Many social-media apps already offer the ability for users to open more than one account, and quickly switch between them. Unfortunately, Instagram is not among them right at this moment. It would not be long before Instagram users will be able to post pictures of their meals on multiple accounts with a quick click of a toggle switch.
