It appears that "Dragon Age 4" is certainly coming in the developer's pipeline and it is in the works for release in the near future. But an appearance at E3 2017 in June is not yet plausible.
Game developer Bioware has remained mum on what they are currently brewing in its studio following the release of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" in March. But thanks to Bioware's writer, Alexis Kennedy, who confirmed this big news for all "Dragon Age" fans.

In his latest interview with Eurogamer, revealed that the all new "Dragon Age 4" is, in fact, in the works. "There are huge differences between all of that and what I'm working on at BioWare, which I can now legitimately say is in the Dragon Age franchise."
Kennedy came on board Bioware last September and has made a name for himself on a number of popular narrative adventure video games, "Fallen London"and "Sunless Sea". Now, he teams up with "Dragon Age" think tanks, Mike Laidlaw and Patrick Weekes for the next installment in the series.
He went on to reveal some more regarding the development of "Dragon Age 4". According to him, Bioware has extended to him an autonomy to explore the storyline of the lore that was not yet tackled in the past until now.
Post his interview, game publisher EA released an official statement. It said that it is happy to have Kennedy now being part of the Bioware team, adding that it does not have any information to tell about the franchise at the moment.
It goes without saying that at this time, it is a bit too soon to know more about "Dragon Age 4", specifically at the fast approaching E3 2017. The event is happening in three weeks, still, such possibility cannot be ruled out completely.
It is expected from "Dragon Age 4" will be released after Bioware's current mysterious online co-op action titled codenamed "Dylan". This project is claimed to be BioWare's answer to Bungie's "Destiny" game series.
