Maxis has rolled out an all new patch to "The Sims 4", bringing hefty changes and improvements to the life simulation game. Players also saw a new clip, showcasing school projects that Sims can craft in the incoming Parenthood Game Pack.

Less than a week prior to the release of "The Sims 4" Parenthood DLC, the Sims team has launched a brand new update that offers a lot of changes and improvement to the game. In order to download to the latest version, players can just open the Origin program.

In case the automatic download fails, right click on "The Sims 4" and choose "Update". For those who have Mods or Custom Content must take note that the game will immediately disable it after first launching the update.

To re-enable, choose Setting option in the Menu and then click Settings. In the "Other" section, find the "Enable Custom Content and Mod" option, then check it and restart the game. 

The latest update for "The Sims 4" enables to upgrade Load and Save Menu into something modern. For example, save slots now use household thumbnails rather than a text list.

Users can now locate which disk a specific save file can be found by hovering over the File icon in the Load Game dialog. They can also click the button to copy the path to the clipboard and rename save from the Load Game dialog.

In addition, the new patch also introduces new lights in Buy Mode. There will be three new lights found under Ceiling Lamps in the Object by Function, Lighting sort: Round Confection Ceiling Light, Square Confection Ceiling Light and Campanulate Ceiling Lamp.

In more news, Maxis has teased fans of the new contents coming in the Parenthood Game Pack for "The Sims 4". The a short teaser clip showcases the school projects that Sims can craft soon. 

The Sims team will also hold a livestream today, May 26, at 1:00 p.m. PDT or 4:00 p.m. EDT on Twitch dedicated for the Parenthood Game Pack release on "The Sims 4". The upcoming DLC will be live on Tuesday, May 30.
