Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Scorpio is definitely in the works and underway. However, many are wondering on whether the new console would incorporate other games besides the ones available for Xbox One because it does not seem to work with Hideo Kojima's new game, the "Death Stranding."

It is given that Hideo Kojima's new game series, the "Death Stranding" is funded by Sony, thus its exclusiveness for the PS4 console is understandable. However, many gamers are still hoping that the Project Scorpio would do the unthinkable by providing more games and series beyond its comfort zone.

More details on Scorpio will be revealed during the E3 wherein Microsoft will render a briefing on the afternoon of June 11. Also, Microsoft announced recently that the console will launch in China this year, and it's notable since Xbox One wasn't released in China until after it came out in the US and other major regions, reports Gamespot.

All Xbox One games work on Scorpio, though the Scorpio editions can look and perform better, in some cases, if developers want to do that, and it is a similar situation with PS4 and PS4 Pro, the report added.

A separate report also tagged Project Scorpio's possible performance once it is out. Based on the report, the legacy of the PS3 is now dying and consoles such as PS4 and the Xbox One will soon follow and there speculations implying that Nintendo Switch and the Microsoft's new offering, the Scorpio will outshine and displace the older consoles.

Despite the rumor mills for Project Scorpio and PS4, all details remain unconfirmed. For the rumors, everything should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
