Could This Be The Alien Hideout? New Planet That’s 50 Times The Size Of Jupiter, Finally Revealed! Details Inside
A new discovery of a giant planet that is said to be 50 times the size of Jupiter is now being regarded as the breeding ground for aliens. Dubbed as the gas planet, researchers have recently claimed that it is surrounded by a large ring of dust, which is hurtling in orbit around a star just a thousand light years away from Earth. In addition, researchers are also convinced that this phenomenon could possibly explain why stellar eclipses were observed in this area of the sky in 2008 and 2011.

Gas Planet: A New Celestial Discovery
In line with the said discovery, a team of international astronomers from the University of Warwick finds that the light from this young star is being regularly blocked out by a much larger object. The experts said that every two-and-a-half years, the light from this distant star, known as PDS 110 located in the Orion constellation, is constantly being reduced to 30 percent for about two to three weeks. As a result, two notable eclipses have allegedly been observed in November 2008 and January 2011.
A Home To Aliens?
Meanwhile, researchers have also emphasized that the planet's moons could be forming in the habitable zone around PDS 110, which would, therefore, mean that life can potentially thrive in the said system. Consequently, following the next eclipse which is set to take place in September of 2017, scientists will be conducting more research to find out whether the planet could be serving as the breeding ground for extraterrestrial life forms. Hugh Osborn, the study's lead author, adds that apart from the gas planet, there is a yet undiscovered exoplanet circling PDS 110.
Furthermore, experts have also revealed that these eclipses can also be used to discover certain conditions that usually lead to the formation of planets and their moons at an early time in the life of a star. However, as of writing, no concrete evidence has been found to support that it is where aliens live.
