But according to the game's voice actor Richard Epcar, the release date announcement will not be happening. For those who do not know Epcar, he voiced the villainous characters of Ansem and Xenahort in KH saga.
The news emerged when Logan, a member of the fan site KH13, took to Twitter to post what he sensed will happen at E3. He wrote, "Guys. I can feel it. This time next week I think we'll know KH3' release date."
The voice actor then replied to Logan's tweet despite there was no mention of him in the post. His tweet reads:
Uh...no...sorry

While Epcar is involved in production, he could be one source of information with regard to "Kingdom Hearts 3". It maybe that he knows something that he directly puts off any possibility that the announcement will in fact happen, but then for some, he maybe wrong.
Some reports point out that what Epcar revealed cannot be taken as anything official from the game developer. Also, voice actors are said to be not in the inner circle of the game's development or marketing to know exactly about release dates and all that.
Epcar made a name for himself within the gaming community for player the role of Joker in other games such as "Injustice" and "Injustice 2". He also appeared again in "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" last year, so, it is expected that he will reprise the same role in the next entry to the series.
Square Enix CEO said at the company's latest investor's meeting that "Kingdom Hearts 3" as well as "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will be out within the next three years or beyond. From the looks of it, fans will see a release in 2018 at the earliest or could go as far as 2020.
