The game publisher also revealed "Fallout 4" VR's gameplay trailer, which featured the familiar barren Wasteland from the original "Fallout 4" game, as well as all the crafting and customization options. What looks different iin the game is the protagonist’s Pip-Boy, as there are not exactly hands in "Fallout 4" VR’s trailer. Bethesda seems to have built a workaround system to avoid some of the more tricky hand-tracking systems of virtual reality, Polygon reported.
As stated during the press conference, "Fallout 4" VR will feature the complete core game with all-new combat, crafting, and building systems fully reimagined for virtual reality. Bethesda Game Studios executive producer Todd Howard promised gaming fans "Fallout 4" VR will happen eventually, but there was still work to do before it was available for the public. In April, it was promised that Fallout 4 on the HTC Vive would be “groundbreaking.”
Judging by the game trailer, it seems Bethesda did indeed deliver their promise to the gaming fans and could not wait to get their hands on "Fallout 4" VR on October.
Meanwhile, Bethesda also revealed a new game feature for both "Fallout 4" and "Skyrim" during E3 2017 week.
Dubbed the "Creation Club," the new feature will be available for both "Fallout 4" and "Skyrim Special Edition." An in-game store system produced by Bethesda that will include some to the top creations from content creators
Unlike the pre-existing list of downloadable modifications for either title, gamers will have to purchase credits in order to access the Creation Club’s contents. Since the creators of these items and gameplay enhancements work hand-in-hand with Bethesda to build these items, Bethesda promises compatibility and achievement support across all save games for every download.
The Creation Club will be out in the summer, but an exact release date has not been revealed at the momment, not to mention the cost of the new feature, Gamerant reported.
"Fallout 4" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
