Bethesda's Pete Hines has revealed the status of "The Elder Scroll 6" amid E3 2017 fever. The developer has shown a slew of new titles in the developer's pipeline at Bethesdaland that concluded on June 12.
But unsurprisingly, the hotly speculated game was a no-show at the developer's presser and unfortunately enough, "The Elder Scrolls 6" is not one of these projects for release in the near future.

The latest update from Hines tells Geoff Keighley that the rumored sixth title in the popular RPG series has not touched the early stages of development as of yet, via PCGamesN.
During his interview on June 12, he is pretty serious when he had to shoot down the long rumored development of "The Elder Scrolls 6". According to Hines, Bethesda Game Studios has two other video games that are a priority at this time and neither of it pertains to the TES franchise.
There is no one at the studio who is working on the sequel to 2011's Skyrim, as per Polygon. The report points out that in three successive years that Bethesda has been holding the E3 showcase, not once has it mentioned a video game that is way off from release.
Before he left the stage during the briefing, Hines said that each of the products presented will be launched in 2017. "I tried to manage expectations for folks, you know the kind of games they [Bethesda Game Studios] make, they take a while," Hines explained about "The Elder Scrolls 6".
He went on to add that the studio has two major things that it is currently in the process of development like Skyrim [on Nintendo] Switch and there are two AAA titles on top of its priority list.
Hines said these two projects are in fact huge. "Wer'e not talking about things like a Fallout Shelter kind of project but, like, big multiplatform releases like you expect," he revealed.
This news surrounding "The Elder Scrolls 6" is a disappointing one to many fans. However, they can divert their play time in exploring "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind" that is fresh from release last June 6.
