The latest details for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature a Japanese release date for the Nintendo Switch version and the possibility of the "Universe Survival" arc DLC soon.
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will launch on Sept. 7 in Japan for the Nintendo Switch version in the latest issue of V-Jump magazine. Not only that, players who have pre-ordered the game earlier will have a chance to gain two bonuses in its day one release.

First will be the entire Time Patrol campaign from the first "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" as a DLC and second, players will also have the option to instantly unlock all 70+ characters from the "Xenoverse 2's" main story right at the beginning, Crunchyroll reported.
Other features for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in the Nintendo Switch version includes a brand new hub city more than 7X the size of the original game with 300 players online at the same time. Next-gen visuals bring the "Dragon Ball" anime experience to life. New characters and boss fights; Lastly, more in depth character creation system and battle adjustments.
Meanwhile, several rumors are making rounds regarding the a new DLC arc after the "Future Trunks" saga in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
The "Future Trunks" arc DLC will launch this month and will feature new characters Merged Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, a new stage called "Devastated Future City," three new Parallel Quests, five new attacks, six new Super Souls, two new costumes and two new accessories.
Game producer Masayuki Hirano stated before that Bandai Namco Entertainment want to bring in contents from "Dragon Ball Super" to "Xenoverse 2." He added that they are looking into the possibilities of incorporating future contents based on community suggestions, Siliconera reported.
With that being said, gaming and anime fans will likely see the "Universe Survival" arc in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" soon.
The "Universe Survival" arc in "Dragon Ball Super" will of all of the fighters from their respective 12 universes and compete each other in a universe expanding tournament hosted by the Omni-Kings Zen-Oh. Universe 7's fighters will include Son Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, Master Roshi, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 18, Android 17 and Majin Buu.
The new arc will also feature the Gods of Destruction from the 12 universes along with the Kaioshin and there Angel tenants.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently available in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
