The Japanese tech company had started the Sony Xperia Beta Program in October last year. Through this program, the company allows its users of Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact to install Android 6.0 beta on their devices. This helps the company to get rid of bugs from Android M firmware that is modified with Sony Xperia UI.
Only a select number of 10,000 registered users who own Xperia Z3 or Z3 Compact were allowed to try the beta program in 11 countries like Lithuania, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Iceland, Germany, and the U.K. at the beginning.
