Apple's iPhone 6s and 6s Plus launched last year has witnessed massive sales and is regarded as a major upgrade over its predecessors. The Apple iPhone 6s, in particular, is touted for an impressive array of innovative features.

Most widely acknowledged improvement in iPhone 6s is in terms of its pressure-sensitive 3D touch technology. By applying different levels of pressure, users can get their iPhone 6s to do different things. It particularly allows users to peep into folders, files, attachments, web pages without opening them first. For instance, by applying lighter pressure at a webpage, users can get a peek into the webpage without opening it entirely.

Forbes mentions that there is an option for users to adjust sensitivity of the 3D Touch feature. Users can choose between light, medium and firm sensitivity, which will accordingly modulate amount of pressure required to get a work done. Users can quickly call, message or face time a contact by applying pressure on a contact's photo on any app.

According to BGR, the next prominent feature in iPhone 6s, apart from its 3D Touch experience, is its Quick Action menu. This menu is particularly useful for Apple's Maps. It was mentioned that by pressing on a location or address on Maps app, users can get directions to location, call it, open its homepage or share location with someone.

The Apple iPhone 6s also comes with a hidden track pad. BGR reported that by pressing firmly on iPhone's key board, it can turn it into a keypad. Pressing on keys harder activates option to highlight words. BGR both recommends use of Live Photos feature and cautions against its over use. It suggests users who have a mere 16 GB of internal memory to disable this feature.
