Since the time of their release, Microsoft's Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from Sony have been in constant rivalry and have evolved into potentially strong contenders in the gaming consoles industry.
The Xbox One now comes with great number of games and features a more user friendly, brand new UI. The PS4, on the other hand, has also transformed greatly with its excellent sharing capabilities and newer games. When it comes to choosing between the two, it is definitely a hard choice.

The Game library of both consoles is pretty large. PS4 games include "The Assassins Creed" series, "Far Cry" series, "Batman," etc., and it also holds a list of upcoming games like "The Division" from Ubisoft, "The Hitman" franchise, etc. Xbox One games, on the other hand, features a very good collection such as "Halo," "Fallout 4," "FIFA," "Minecraft," etc. Xbox One also has a backward compatibility that supports over 100 Xbox 360 games.
Xbox One measures about 7.9 x 27.4 x 33.3 cm compared to PS4's smaller 5.3 x 27.5 x 30.5cm; however, Xbox One sports additional ventilator system and last longer than PS4. Xbox One has a massive power brick while PS4 has a single power cable running from the socket to the console. Xbox One has a custom 1.75GHz AMD octa-core CPU while PS4 has 1.6GHz processor with an x86 build.
When it comes to Gamepad controllers, PlayStation 4 has a front/center touchpad, DualShock 4 and mono speaker. The gamepad controllers also feature a microUSB port to recharge their lithium-ion batteries, even when the PS4 is not powered. Xbox one, however, has handles that are easier to grip in long gameplay sessions and can detect even the precise movements.
Xbox One interface has larger icons and are easier to navigate. The gaming console features a new guide that helps gamers stay connected with friends with notification and messages on a single button-tap; however, PS4 gamers have an option of capturing their gameplay moments as well, due to their console's ability to share play, wherein gamers can give the gaming control to an online friend.
Both the consoles start at $349 and have varied features. Xbox One is priced at $349 that sports a 500GB hard drive, a controller and a bundle of games, while with $399 Xbox One bundle, gamers can get a 1TB Xbox One console. Meanwhile, PS4 1TB console is priced at $429.
It is said that both PS4 and Xbox One systems are worth buying, and with their own set of games waiting to be released, both consoles are evenly matched.
